On 23rd April 2005 the Dragon Fly members were invited to attend the DBSA Dinner, an annual event held to celebrate the end of each season with food, entertainment, award presentations and great company. Dragon Fly members were in particularly high spirits as the event capped off what was a terrific season for us.

This year the Dinner was held at the AAMI Stadium, and apart from a change in the environment, a noticeably improved course of delicious meals was enjoyed by all.

The festivities reached its peak when the award presentations began and each Dragonfly was presented with a medal for coming first in the social division, which some of us continued wearing until the following day. A further highlight took place when Darren "Oh my god more paint" Ong successfully won both the first and second prize for the raffle with the three tickets he purchased.

All in all, an excellent time was had by all and we look forward to attending again next year. We thank the Association for its continued organisation of the event.
