IT WAS ON! On Friday 27th October 2007 the competition was fierce, fast and furious between two University dragon boat teams, Adelaide Uni and UniSA at the inaugural Lord Mayor’s Dragon Boat Head of the River Uni Dragon Boat Race.

With Dragon Fly members on both opposing teams, spirits ran high and tensions mounted in the bid to win the majority of 4 races for the day and be victorious!

The day concluded with a presentation of medals and a shield by Lord Mayor Michael Harbison to the day’s winner, team UniSA.

We look forward to seeing new faces, more teams and renewed competition between the Universities next year!
